    Elisabeth and Aaron’s Engagement Preview

    When planning a wedding there are a lot of elements to think about – venue, food, entertainment, dress. After all is said and done what’s left are the photos. Your photographer will be with you throughout the day, constantly pointing a camera at you to capture those memorable moments. For most people, this isn’t an every day occurrence and can be overwhelming. This is where the importance of engagement photos come into play. In participating in an engagement session, not only will start to feel more comfortable in front of the camera but you get into a rhythm with your photographer.
     
    This past weekend, one of my amazing couples took their engagement photos at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens. It was such a fun day!

    Amy and Mike’s Beach Wedding

    What can I say…but wow! Amy and Mike are the most caring, fun-loving and laid-back couple I have ever met, and it was my honor to be included in their wedding day plans. It was a fusion of family love and beachy fun.
     
    Some Fun Facts: Mike built the gorgeous bamboo alter that graced the ceremony site and the uplights and lantern lights that illuminated the reception. The craftsmanship was incredible. The morning of the wedding, Mike and his groomsmen dug holes in the sand and strung lights to make the day absolutely perfect.
     
    Amy is a master negotiator (thanks to UM law) and was able to convince Sailfish Marina to lend her their trolley to transport the bridal party to the ceremony site…for free! She also made sure to add tons of personal, special touches throughout the day to reflect her and Mike’s personalities. My favorite was the yummy signature drink, “Love on the Beach.”
